How do I get there?
Our church is located at the corner of N 6th Ave and W Broadway in Hopewell, Virginia
What kind of worship do you have?
Due to COVID, we currently have a single traditional worship at 11am in the Sanctuary on the second floor that is also live-streamed on Facebook. c
What should I wear?
You will find a wide variety of attire in our worship services. Some people come dressed in jeans and t-shirts while others come dressed business casual. If you prefer to wear ties or a dress, that's fine too. We invite you to wear what you feel comfortable wearing – what you wear is not important to us, you being here is!
What should I do when I arrive?
Our parking lot is in the rear of the church along N 6th Avenue. Yes, we do have a beautiful front entrance, but over the years we have come to appreciate the convenience of entering the church from the parking lot! You will see a large “ENTRANCE” sign over the door.
Just inside the door, there is a welcoming area with comfortable seating. You will see signs directing you to the sanctuary or chapel, but there are always lots of friendly people there to help as well!
What if I have trouble with stairs?
There is an elevator that goes to the Fellowship Hall in the basement , the first floor (street level) and the second floor where the sanctuary is located. There is a door to the elevator on the 6th Ave side of our Church building, inside the bell tower. There will be an usher stationed near the elevator on the sanctuary level to help you to your seat if you want. Just ask!
I have small children, do you have a nursery?
Yes, we have a nursery. When you enter the welcoming area (see above), continue on into the hallway, and, a few steps to the right you will find our nursery. It is staffed by trained, loving people who will take really good care of your child or infant!
